Thomas A. Slamka of Waterford, age 67, passed away peacefully at ProHealth Waukesha Memorial Hospital on December 4th, 2022.
Tom was born on March 21st, 1955, to the late Andrew & Johanna Slamka. He grew up in Oak Creek and graduated from Oak Creek High School class of '73. Tom married the love of his life Robin (Nee Timmel) on June 8th, 1979.
Tom went on to complete his apprenticeship and worked as a model maker at Allen Bradley/Rockwell. He retired after 38 years of service. During his retirement years Tom and Robin took on the snowbird life. Leaving for Florida in their R.V. every winter. In Florida Tom loved fishing and going out on his boat. Tom was a very devoted dad to his precious fur baby, Shebear, he always enjoyed their time on walks and cuddling.
Tom is survived by his devoted wife Robin, son Jesse Slamka (Melissa Carver), and grandson Jesse Jr. He is also survived by his loving and cuddly fur baby Shebear. And further survived by his supportive sister Nancy (Tom) Sorensen and nephew Nicholas Sorensen. Tom is furthermore survived by several cousins.
Tom is preceded in death by his parents, half-brother Erick Slamka, maternal & paternal grandparents. He is further preceded by many aunts, uncles, and cousins.
A Celebration of Thomas’s life will be held on December 13th, 2022, at Integrity Celebration Center, 2789 Browns Lake Dr. Burlington, WI 53105. A memorial service will be held promptly at 3PM followed by an open house gathering until 6PM.
The family suggests memorial donations to The Melanoma Research Foundation or to HAWS of Waukesha County (Humane Animal Welfare Society).
