Ronald E. Sauvageau

Ronald E. Sauvageau, 87 years old, formally from Muskego, passed away peacefully March 7th, 2023 with family at his side. Ron was born in Milwaukee, Wisconsin on August 20th,1935; the son of Arthur and Mary Lorretta (Murphy) Sauvageau. 

He worked at Filer and Stowell for 37 years, where he worked his way from Journeyman Machinist to the Plant Superintendent. Ron was a talented woodworker that made many family heirlooms that will be passed down for many generations to come. Ron had a unique sense of humor and loved a good card game; he often won to his opponents' chagrin. Ron was a devoted father, friend and grandfather.  He loved spending time with family and friends either just visiting, on the golf course, or in his beloved state of North Carolina. 

Ron is survived by his wife Patricia; his children Laura (Kevin) Buelow and Bob (Karen) Sauvageau; his four grandchildren Andrew, Abby, Carly and Ben; his brother Jim (Mary) Sauvageau; Sister in law Sister Alice Drewek OSF, and many more beloved family and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents and his cherished sister Shirley Joy.

The visitation will be March 18th from 9:00 to 10:30am at St. Clare's Catholic Church, (7616 Fritz Street Wind Lake, WI 53185). Family will be receiving friends from 9:00 a.m. until the time of mass.

In lieu of flowers memorial gifts can be made to Works of Mercy, ( P.O. Box 468 Cedarburg, WI 53012), a ministry which serves persons with special needs and chronic mental illness and assists them in helping others in need.
