Robert Leonard Mcgee

Robert Leonard Megee, age 96, resident of Burlington, WI; formally of LaGrange Park, IL passed away peacefully May 12, 2019 at his residence.

He was born September 6, 1922 in Baxter County, AR to Steve and Edna Megee(Gardner). During WWII, Robert proudly served his country is the Army Air Force as an airplane mechanic gunner. He married Estalena Dearmore on August 17, 1951. Together moving to LaGrange Park IL in the 1950’s. He worked as a Ford automobile mechanic until his retirement.

Robert is survived by his sister Betty Jo Sallee Luna, his daughters; Stacey Casey of Burlington, WI and Laura Fiegenbaum of Naperville, IL, he is further survived by his three grandchildren; Christa Reimer, Matthew Carlson and Brett Carlson; and his great grandchidren  Brianna Carlson, Layden and Jayna Reimer; Cody, Hunter and Caitlynn Carlson and Zander Carlson and his Goddaughter Leslee Swann(Reid).

He was preceded in death by his wife Estalena Megee(Dearmore) and his Brother Leo(Pat) Megee

Robert will be laid to rest at Southern WI Veterans Memorial Cemetery (21731 Spring Street Union Grove, WI 53182) on June 6, 2019 at 3:00 p.m.
