Robert F. Due, age 82, passed away peacefully June 13, 2021 at Waterford Senior Living Memory Care, surrounded by family. He will be dearly missed by his loving wife and caregiver Carol, to whom he was happily married for 61 years.
Bob was a graduate of West Milwaukee High School where he played basketball and was named an All Suburban Conference guard on the football team. He was proud to serve on the West Allis Police Department and was elected president of the West Allis Professional Police Association. He rose through the ranks of the department and retired in 1998 as Deputy Chief of Police.
Bob enjoyed retirement for the past 21 years in Waterford where he spent many days on the golf course. He also enjoyed fishing, hunting, biking, playing softball, traveling, playing cards, and entertaining family and friends with many great stories. His infectious laugh will be missed by all.
Bob is survived by his wife Carol, his five children Brian (Julie) Due, Barbara Due, Phil (Heather) Due, Laurie Due, and Cathy (Tom) Auer. He is further survived by several grandchildren and great grandchildren, his brother-in-law Delbert Seebruch and numerous other relatives.
Bob was preceded in death by his sister, Carol Seebruch, and his brother, Richard (Karen) Due.

Funeral service will be held on Monday, June 21st at St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church in Waterford. Visitation starting at 10:30 am followed by memorial mass at 12:00 pm.
The family requests memorial donations to St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church in Waterford WI or the Alzheimers Association would be appreciated.
