Richard “Rick” R. Wood

Richard “Rick” Ralph Wood, age 66, passed away peacefully on December 2nd, 2023, at his home in Elizabeth, CO after a short battle with Leukemia.

Rick was born April 20th (Holy Saturday) 1957. Son of Ralph & Virginia (Rueter) Wood. Grandparents – Robert & Alma (Zabler) Rueter, Hiram & Etta (Anderson) Wood.  Rick graduated from Burlington High School in 1975. He worked in Burlington for many years until moving to Colorado.

Rick is survived by his son Jason Wood, daughter Amber, and grandchildren Jayln & Maddie. Sisters Nancy (Jerry) Martin; Judy (Jerry) Ketterhagen; Linda (LeMoine) Worthington, also many nieces & nephews.

Rick is preceded in death by parents, grandparents, and sister Susan Morrow.

In lieu of flowers memorials to the family are greatly appreciated.

 A celebration of Rick’s life will be held on April 21st, 2024, at Integrity Celebrations Center, (2789 Browns Lake Dr. Burlington, WI 53105), with an open house starting at 1:30 pm concluding at 3:30 pm with a sharing time.
