Rhonda D. (Hoffman) Lauer

Rhonda Lauer (Nee: Hoffman), age 63, of Burlington, Wisconsin, passed away unexpectedly on April 3rd, 2025.  A lifelong resident of Racine County, she was the daughter of John and Dawn Hoffman. She was a graduate of Union Grove High School (class of 1980) and also attended UW-Parkside.

Rhonda was a faithful employee of Pine Street Cafe in Burlington for over thirty years. She was a talented saxophone player and participated in different community bands until her passing. She enjoyed music, crossword puzzles, and cooking, but her greatest love of all was spending time with and caring for her beloved grandsons. She was a selfless mother and grandmother, and her devotion to her family knew no bounds.  

Left to cherish her memory are her mother and father, John and Dawn Hoffman, daughter Terra (Patrick) Roberts, son Todd Lauer (Kate Mooney), and beloved grandsons, Collin and Henry Roberts and Jack and Liam Lauer.  Rhonda is further survived by her sisters, Renee (Doug) Reindl, Rochelle (Robert) Glaus, and brother, Mark (Katharina) Hoffman.  She is further survived by a host of nieces, nephews, and great-nieces and nephews, too numerous to name. Rhonda is also survived by her lifelong friend, Kelly Anderson.

A visitation for Rhonda will be held at Integrity Celebrations Center, (2789 Browns Lake Dr. Burlington, WI 53105), on Wednesday, April 9th, from 5 to 7 PM.
