Penelope "Penny" Soule

Penelope A Soule, 85, of Burlington, WI, formerly of Racine, WI, passed away after spending much time with loved ones, on Dec.26,2025 at St Luke's Hospital.  

Penny was born on April 14, 1940 to Clyo J Hansen and Robert E Soule, in Racine, WI, moving to Burlington in the late 60's.  

Penny worked for over 30 years at Burlington Memorial Hospital, working in admissions and scheduling, working until 72 years of age, making friends with everyone she met.  

She is survived by her brother Brian Soule (Sue), daughter Jodi (Olsen) Walker (Terry), son John Dewey Jr (Traci).  Penny was blessed with Grandchildren Hayley (Mack) Gibbon (Brian), Michael Mack (Abigail), Nathan & Adam Walker, and Victoria and Olivia Dewey, as well as 4 great grandchildren Sutton and Olivia Mack, Grace Gibbon  and Ivy Walker and baby Mack due in February.

She was preceded in death by her parents, sister Nancy, and daughter Jill (Olsen) Mack Lewis.  

Penny has always been a true believer in God, having strong spiritual faith and loved by everyone she met.  Those who knew her were blessed to have her in their lives , as she was to have them.  She loved gardening, reading and spending time with her family.  

Penny chose not to have a service, knowing she was in God's hands. Thank you to all who have already shared your caring condolences.
