Patricia (Patty Splat) Rydzik

Patricia E (Patty aka Splat) Rydzik, 70, Waterford WI was called home to be with our Lord on June 27, 2025 after her courageous battle with pancreatic cancer.

Patty was born August 18, 1954 to Jim and Katie Duffy in Illinois. Married to John Rydik on August 7, 1999. Grew up in Burlington and graduated from Burlington High School and went on to graduate from Gateway Technical College. Patty loved her time as an LPN and worked at the Burlington Clinic. She really enjoyed her time at Waterford Sentry while visiting with folks in the community, and one day meeting her future husband while working as a cashier. Patty latter changed jobs to work at American Champion Aircraft as a supervisor, she enjoyed learning about planes and working with others. She finished out her career working at Pine Brook and Waterford Senior Living where she was able to see her parents while working.

Patty was loyal to the Penguin Dip for 30 years in Waterford and was always cheered on by John and her multitude of friends. You may have seen Patty dressed up for each holiday especially July 4th when she handed out candy during the Waterford parade. All holidays, Packer and Badger games Patty was celebrating.

Patty will be dearly missed by her husband John and her sons Jeremy (Jackie) Bratz, Jonathan (Carrie) Bratz, Joshua (Brett Nelson) Bratz. Her stepsons John (Mindi) Rydzik, Paul Rydzik, and Nicholas (Racheal) Rydzik. A proud grandma to her 8 grandsons and 1 granddaughter. 5 siblings Peggy Combs, Jack (Mary) Duffy, Tim Duffy, Mary (Ken) Krueger, Terry (Charlie) Alexander. Her in-laws Dawn (Mark) Werth, Judy (Bill) Sampson, Don (Crista Dawson) Rydzik, Sue Rydzik, Paula (Richard) Rausch

Preceded in death by her parents, Pete Rydzik, Joyce Lack, and Chris Leick

The family would like to thank the staff at Vince Lombardi Cancer Center and Aurora Hospice.

July 12, 2025 we will celebrate Patty with an open house from 2pm -5pm at Integrity Celebration Center, 2789 Browns Lake Dr. The family is asking that the memorials go to St Jude’s hospital in-leu of flowers.
