Otto H. Sonderegger

It is with profound sadness that we share the passing of Otto H. Sonderegger, who at the age of 65, left us May 14th, 2024. He was born in Lebanon, Virginia, to Margaret Jean Olsen and Paul Sonderegger. He was raised in Castlewood, Virginia, until relocating to East Troy, Wisconsin, in his late teens.

Otto was proud of the work he had accomplished over the years. He did drywall and from there established his own company, followed by owning and co-owning several other businesses. He later went into car sales for 17 years before changing careers and ultimately retiring as a Representative Buyer.

Otto was a treasured family member and a cherished friend to many. Once he accepted you in his life, he was there for you unconditionally. He was a wise, tenacious man with incredible mental strength. A charismatic man that enjoyed striking up conversations with one and all, he was witty and full of sarcastic humor. His true passion was riding his motorcycle and living life on his terms.

Otto is preceded in death by his parents, uncles, and an aunt. He is survived by his children Tabatha Sonderegger (Jared Hickman) and Sabrina (Tim) Ignasiak. Grandchildren Skyler, Mason, Ryan, Madison, and lastly a great-grandchild Liam. Siblings include Harry (Cindy) Sonderegger, Richard Sonderegger, Paul Jr (Mary) Sonderegger, David (Patty) Foat, Debbie Hickey, Gary (Jane) Foat, Sandra (Craig Doyle).

A service will be held on June 1st, 2024, at Grace Church, (30623 Plank Rd, Burlington, WI 53105) from 1-3 pm with the service to start at 1:15 pm with a time of fellowship to follow.
