Neil R. Ahler

Neil R. Ahler, age 46 years, of Burlington, passed away on March 11th, 2022, at Aurora Lakeland Medical Center in Elkhorn, WI.  

Neil was born on June 16th, 1975 to Robert “Bob” Ahler and Cindy Hoffman.  He graduated from Burlington High School.  Neil loved sports, playing for 1 year in high school and watching all kinds.  He enjoyed spending time fishing.  He was great with children and loved playing with his nieces and nephews.

Neil is survived by his parents Bob (Edith) and Cindy Hoffman, 2 brothers; Adam (Kim) and Jon Paul Hoffman, and sister Mandy Ahler (John). And further survived by his step-brother Everett Colson and step-sister Jennifer Colson. Neil is furthermore survived by a large supporting family.  

He is Preceded in death by his grandparents, brother Eric, uncle Peter, step-father Paul Hoffman. 

A celebration of Neil's life will take place on Thursday, June 16th, 2022, at Riverside Park, (517 Congress St. Burlington, WI 53105), from 4:00 pm to 8:00pm.
