Mary Ann "Mitzi" (Pontar) Budney

Mary Ann “Mitzi” Budney, 85, formerly of Milwaukee, made the final steps on her life journey and peacefully returned to the loving arms of Jesus on Tuesday, November 13 at her home in Menomonee Falls. Mary Ann was born December 4th, 1932 to Anton and Mary Pontar (nee Schimenz). She joins her late husband Arthur and her brother Matt Pontar in repose.

Mary Ann was a woman of strong faith who served the church in a variety of ways including as a volunteer for the St. Vincent De Paul Society.

She will be dearly missed by her children Theresa (Kevin) Lasky, Paul Budney, Peter (Deanna) Budney, and Barbara (Rick) Vehlow; her four grandchildren, Matthew (Amanda) Sawinski, Monica Sawinski, Cole Budney, and Olivia Budney; and great grandson Maddux Sawinski. Mary Ann is further survived by additional relatives and friends.

A Mass of Christian burial will be held  at St. Helen Church (3307 S 10th St, Milwaukee 53215), on December 1st, 2018. Visitation will be held from 9:30 am to 10:20 am, followed by a 10:30am memorial mass.
