Judith A. Buse

Judith A. Buse, age 81, of Waterford, passed peacefully at home with family by her side on December 25th, 2024,to be with her LORD. 

She was born on March 21st, 1943, in Burlington, WI, to Norbert and Eleanor (Nee: Strom) Buse.  She was a lifelong resident of Waterford, WI, and a graduate of Waterford High School.  Upon graduation, Judith joined the team at Murphy Farms (Maple Leaf/ C+D foods) where she was the account payable supervisor. She was with the company for 43 years.  She was a lifelong member of St. Peter’s Lutheran Church where she taught Sunday school and sang in the choir.  She was a part of the Fall Dinner until she became ill.

She loved to be home working outside in her yard and on the patio that was full of beautiful flowers.  She was an excellent cook and loved to bake.  She took great pleasure in making food for others.  She had a great love for her family, especially her nieces and nephews, great nieces/ nephews, and great-great nephews.

Judith is survived by her three siblings Diane Edwards of Clintonville, WI, Susanne Medford of Centerville, TN, and Norbert “Tom” Buse of Burlington, WI.  Sister-in-law Debra Steinke.  Nieces and Nephews Timothy (Chris) Edwards, Matthew Edwards, Edward (Kelly) Medford, Staci (Robert) Warden, Kory (Michael) Chart, Charity (Paul) Ailstock, and Aaron Buse.  Great nieces and nephews Caleb, Amber, Michael (Rebecca), Katie (Logan), Nicholas, Bennett, Joseph (Haven), Benjamin (Parker), Hannah, Adam, Jack, Grace, Sarah, and Dean. She is further survived by great- great nephews William and August.

Judith was preceded in death by her parents Norbert and Eleanor Buse and brother-in-laws Bob Edwards and David Medford. 

A celebration of Judith's life will be held on January 10th, 2025 at Integrity Celebration Center,  (2789 Browns Lake Dr. Burlington, WI 53105), and memorial gathering will be at 3:30pm until time of service at 4:50pm followed directly by a time of fellowship.  Judith will be laid to rest at St. Peter's Cemetery in Waterford on Saturday January 11th at 10:30am..
