Jonathan "Jon" M. Moore

Jonathan “Jon” Michael Moore, age 31, of Union Grove, Wisconsin, was called home to eternal life on May 17th, 2022, at Aurora Saint Luke’s Medical Center. Devoted husband to Samantha (nee Kniep), loving father to Paisley and dog Dad to Kai and Kota. Cherished son of Mike and Louan Moore, rock star son-in-law to Jeff and Michele Kniep, most favorite little brother of Kennlyn (Kevin) Hunholz and protective brother-in-law of Brody & Teagan Kniep. Preceded in death by his grandfather Wayne Noble and Uncle Jim Noble.

Jon was born on November 12th, 1990, at Burlington Memorial Hospital. He lived most of his childhood in Wind Lake, Wisconsin before moving to Burlington, Wisconsin in middle school. He graduated high school from Burlington High School (BHS) class of 2009. Jon married the love of his life, Samantha “Sam” on July 18th, 2020, and welcomed his beautiful baby girl, Paisley in 2021.

Jon is further survived by his paternal grandparents Duane & Patricia “Pat” Moore, maternal grandmother Marie Noble, many aunts, uncles & cousins.

Jon was the most wonderful, kind and generous friend. He surrounded himself with many friends he considered a part of his family. From the famous Halloween parties, snowmobile trips, Brewers Games, Country Thunder nights, & weekend bonfires, Jon was always the life of the party and a wicked dancer.

He was loved by all he encountered and truly one of the most genuine people you could meet. Jon was always sure to bring a smile to anyone’s face. Jon truly lived his life to its fullest and never missed an opportunity to spend time with his friends and family.

Visitation will be held Wednesday, May 25th, 2022, at Integrity Celebration Center, (2789 Browns Lake Dr., Burlington, WI 53105) from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM.  A memorial service will be held the following day Thursday, May 26th, 2022, at Integrity Celebration Center promptly at 11:00 AM. Jon will then be laid to rest at English Settlement Cemetery, (28215 Plank Rd. Burlington, WI 53105) at 12:30 PM.

In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate memorials to daughter Paisley’s college.
