Heinz had a very unique wit and sense of humor!  He will forever be remembered for his “Heinz Jokes”!!!  He had a beautiful voice and loved to sing with Maddy!  Heinz played the accordion and left us with happy memories of those times!  He enjoyed keeping fit and riding his outdoor bicycle and exercise bikes as long as he was able.

Heinz was trained as a Radio Repairman in the US Marine Corps.  Following that he was employed by AC Spark Plug (later Delco Electronics) in Oak Creek, and Twin Disc in Racine.  He also served as a lay minister for the New Apostolic Church congregations in Wisconsin and Florida.

Heinz is survived by his wife of 61 years, Maddy, his children, Tammy (Carl) Laux, David (Sheri) Bruhn, grandchildren, Joshua Groth, Richard (Heather) Bruhn, Matthew Bruhn, Travis Laux, great-grandchildren, Emberly and Cambria Bruhn, sister-in-law, Mary Lou Bruhn.  He is further survived by his step-grandchildren, Julie Laux, Curtis (Katie) Laux, and Maddy’s siblings, Dolores, Sylvia, Kathy, Bob, Ernie and their spouses, nephew, Skot Bruhn, niece, Krissie Murphy, nephew Rolf C. Bruhn (Danielle) and their families.

Heinz was preceded in death by his parents, an infant sister, Helmi, brother, Rolf, and his beloved aunt, his mother’s twin sister, Marie.

A special thanks to Heinz’s Pine Brook Pointe Family for your personal care, attention, conversation and for sharing with him his music, jokes and laughter…he sure loved you!
