It is with great sadness that the family of George Dennis Luccas announces his passing.
George left this world ready for his next adventure on December 8, 2024. Born
on February 23, 1952, to Grace and Lucius Luccas and would later become big brother to Brian,
Bruce, Tina, and Ernie Luccas.
His loud boisterous nature earned him the nickname “Radio”, which stuck with him
throughout his life. Radio could broadcast a story like no other. His unique and
outgoing personality was larger than life. Nothing made him happier than to bring
laughter to his friends and family with his own contagious laughter while telling those tales.
George was a fisherman and loved to fish with his late wife Bonnie, especially at Fence
Lake in the Northwoods. He was a Harley rider that loved to ride in his later years and was
an avid collector of a multitude of things. George could see beauty and value in many
things and people that most would overlook.
He had suffered heartbreaks many times in his life which caused him to have a protective shell, this being purely a defense mechanism, many did not realize his heart was so generous,
loving and forgiving. George often gave to those in need silently, never expecting a thank you.
George was proceeded in death by his parents Grace Plegge and Lucius Luccas along
with his wife Bonnie Luccas. He is survived by his brothers Brian (Pam), Bruce (Cecilia), Ernie,
sister Tina, son Ruben, grandson Seth and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Let us remember George not with tears, but with a toast to a life filled with adventure and
laughter.
