Faline Brown

Faline Brown, 82, passed away on July 3rd, 2025, at Burlington Health and Rehabilitation Center. Faline was born to Howard and Pearl Collett on October 7th,1942, in Alton, Illinois October 7th, 1942. She earned her education in Hayward and Milwaukee. Faline married her husband, the late Robert J. Brown, on December 5th, 1960.  She worked at Kenco of Burlington as a shipping manager for 20 years. She then went on to work at the Burlington Kmart as an office manager for 30 years. Faline loved baking, decorating for the holidays, and watching birds. She truly enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and was a devoted member of the Burlington Special Olympics. As of recently she had begun painting rocks to spread joy and happiness.

Faline is survived by her three children: Robert Brown, Jackie Ahler, and Jodi Brown, grandchildren: Cory Ahler and Haili Strockis, Chad Ahler, Kim and Anthony Enright, Casey Ahler and Fiancé Jasmin Taucher.  She is further survived by her great grandchildren: Evelyn and Grayson Ahler, Owen Enright, and Nova Strockis. And furthermore, several special friends, including Linda Ebbers, Kathy Spankowski, Nancy Razo, Mike and Chris Lois, and Millie Ahler.

  Faline was preceded in death by her mother Pearl (Stepfather Frank) Odegard, Curt Collett, husband Robert J. Brown, and Judy Whiteside. 

A celebration of Faline's life will be held on Saturday, August 23rd, 2025, from 1pm until 3pm at  Integrity Celebration Center, 2789 Browns Lake Dr., Burlington, WI 53105.  Faline will be laid to rest next to her husband at 3:30pm at the Burlington Cemetery, 701 Browns Lake Dr. Burlington, WI 53105.
