Eddie Earl Lindsey

Eddie Earl Lindsey age 63, passed away peacefully on March 1st, 2018 at his residence in Milwaukee. He was born January 9th, 1955 to the late Herman Powell and Margaree Lindsey in Mississippi. Eddie went to Velma Jackson High School, where he enjoyed participating in sports. He was the running back for the football team and a boxer. Eddie graduated in 1973, and later moved to Wisconsin. Eddie married his loving wife Laura on February 25th, 1990. Eddie worked for Golden Guernsey for over 20 years. He enjoyed tinkering on cars and fishing.

Eddie will be dearly missed by his wife Laura (nee Collingwood) Lindsey, his children Marguerite Lindsey, Dominick Lindsey, and his step son Christopher (Jane) Collingwood; his grandchildren Annabella Collingwood, Darius Collingwood, Christal Collingwood, and Joshua Collingwood. Eddie is further survived by his siblings Herman, Aaron, Johnnie, Allen, Cynthia, and Margaret,  one aunt on his father's side and three aunts on his mother's side. as well as several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Eddie was preceded in death by his parents, his brother Andrew, and his sister Ann.

A celebration of Eddie’s life will take place on Sunday March 25th, 2018 at Hope Lutheran Church (1115 N. 35th Street Milwaukee, WI 53208). Visitation will be from 1pm to 3pm, with a memorial service at 3:30pm, followed by a time of fellowship and food at 5pm.
