Dorothy Mae (Kerkhoff) May

Dorothy Mae May (nee Kerkhoff) age 88 passed away peacefully on June 17th, 2021 at Oak Park Place surrounded by her loving family. Dorothy married Ralph May on May 7th, 1955 at St. Alphonsus Church in New Munster, WI. They were married over 66 years and resided in Burlington with their three sons Tim, Larry, and Roger May; as well as their daughter Nancy Ziolecki.

Dorothy is further survived by her brother Kenneth (Kay) Kerkhoff, her sister Carol Langley, and her sister in-law Barb Kerkhoff.

Dorothy was preceded in death by her parents Herbert and Gertrude (nee Kresken) Kerkhoff, her brother James Kerkhoff, her brother in-law Donald Langley, and son in-law James Ziolecki.

A Celebration of Dorothy’s life will be held on Monday June 21st at Integrity Celebrations Center.  Visitation will be held from 4:00 to 5:45pm, followed by a 6:00pm memorial service.

Dorothy's family would like to express their deepest gratitude and grateful hearts for all the love and care 0ak Park Place and Kindred Hospice has shown to my mom, and continue to show to my dad and our family. 

Dorothy will be laid to rest at Southern WI Veteran;'s cemetery on July 20th, 2021 with a brief committal service starting promtly at 9am.
