Dolores A. House, age 81, of Burlington, WI, passed away on August 25, 2024. She was born on July 23, 1943, to the late Florence (Lawrence) Roche. Dolores's life was marked by her devotion to her family and her love of reading, latch-work crafts, and watching Lawrence Welk series.
Dolores was first married to Warren Sandberg, with whom she had four children: Christine Culliton, Ronald Sandberg, Donna (Mike) Sylvester Brooks, and Darlene (Todd) Sylvester. Later, she married Roy House, who preceded her in death, she gained two daughters, Anna (Gary) Toms and Ruby (Bob) Gleason. Dolores was a beloved grandmother to 11 grandchildren, noting the special care her granddaughter Tabitha Sandberg gave her, and 14 great-grandchildren.
Her brother Lawrence Roche, her first husband Warren Sandberg, and her mother Florence Roche also preceded her in death.
A memorial service was held at Integrity Celebration Center on September 6, 2024, where family and friends gathered to honor her as a cherished wife, mother, and grandmother. Dolores's life was a testament to the love she had for her family and the joy she found in bringing them together.
