Clarence Frank Deacon

Clarence “Sam” F. Deacon, age 79, passed away unexpectedly at his residence in Union Grove, WI on December 16th, 2020. Formerly of New York, Florida, and Alabama. He was born on June 4th, 1941 in Fulton, NY to the late Clarence Sr. and Carmela Deacon. Clarence grew up in New York, when he was a young adult, he left home to join the circus. He loved to travel, big or small trips didn’t matter, pretty much anytime he could get away he would. Clarence never met a stranger; they were all his new friends. He was a OTR truck driver and carnival worker for many years. He was always a talker, and he truly enjoyed sharing stories about his life especially his time spent with the circus and various carnivals. He had many great stories! Clarence met his wife Kaye while working a carnival in Sheboygan, WI. They were married on September 21st, 1970 but separated about a year and a half later. They rekindled their love many years later, when he called Kaye out of the blue in January of 1997. They remarried on August 2nd, 2004.

Clarence will be dearly missed by his wife Kaye and his children Clarence (Jan) Deacon of Fulton, NY, Cari (Opie) Webb of Racine, WI, Stephanie (Mark) Harrelson of Mobile, AL, Jason (Robyn) Deacon, the twins Michael (Nicole) and Melanie Deacon of Troy, AL, and Sabrina (Robert) Davis of Panama City, FL. He is further survived by his grandchildren Tabor Deacon, Lyndsay MacPhee, Benjamin Harrelson, Zachary Harrelson, Christopher Deacon, Dawson Deacon, Colson Deacon, Sophia Deacon, Emma Deacon, Nicole Odem, Thomas Odem, and Michael Odem.

Clarence was preceded in death by his daughter Robin, his parents, in parents-in-law, as well as many aunts, uncles, and cousins.

A celebration of Clarence's life will be scheduled at later time.
