Cecil Buck

Cecil Lyonal Buck, 70, of Burlington, WI, completed his earthly journey, and entered into eternal rest after a 2 year health battle on Wednesday January 14,2026 at home surrounded by his loving family.

Born September 13, 1955 in Milwaukee, WI to Lyonal and Shirley (Patrenets) Buck.

Raised in South Milwaukee, WI. Graduate of South Milwaukee High School class of 1973.

He met his soul mate Addie in 1980 while playing softball for Gondek’s. They married June 12, 1982 and started their family.

He worked his way through college employed at Ladish Corporation in Cudahy while attending MATC for industrial engineering. He went on to gain employment with Delco Electronics (later known as Delphi) in Oak Creek WI, and graduated with his degree as an Industrial Engineer.

With continued success and growth within his career, advancement opportunity within the company transferred Cecil and his family to Kokomo Indiana in 1988. Cecil continued his employment and raising his family in Kokomo until 2000 when the company transferred him back to his home state of Wisconsin. He spent 28 and a half years employed with Delco/Delphi until 2009 when the company declared bankruptcy and closed. Cecil continued to do contract work with a few various companies until he retired in 2017.

Cecil was a Master Mason raised in New London, IN Lodge #283. He was also a member of the fraternal organization IBN Saud Grotto in Kokomo IN, as well as a member of the Indianapolis Valley of Scottish Rite. Later after reestablishing home in Wisconsin, he became a member of Lodge # 28 in Burlington, WI.  He enjoyed philanthropic work and this brotherhood he had.

Cecil; a man of simple character and generous spirit had a great fulfilling life. Married to the love of his life, he would call his “better half” for 43 and a half years; Addie (Krenzer), raising 2 children which he was incredibly proud of; Clinton, and Caitlin, and Papas boy whom he absolutely adored,  his grandson Parker (Wagner). His family was truly his most cherished blessing.

Cecil enjoyed woodworking, using his creativity, skill, and love of craftsmanship to create beautiful unique pieces for us to enjoy and cherish for years to come. When not in his workshop, Cecil found peace in the outdoors with a fishing line in the water, and stillness in the woods while hunting. Many knew Cecil was a Hawaiian shirt aficionado, and a master at the grill.

Cecil had a passion for traveling, and exploring the World, finding beauty in diversity among the places he ventured and memories made. Most of all he enjoyed family traditions, telling stories, and quality time with family and friends.

He touched the lives of many with his wisdom, humor, and unwavering spirit of perseverance.

Cecil is survived by his loving wife, Addie, his tremendous children, Clinton and Caitlin, and his favorite grandson Parker. He is further survived by his sister Carolyn Klipfel, Brother in law George (Tina) Krenzer, sister in law Helen (Richard) Howells, nieces, nephews, and other family members and friends.

Cecil was proceeded in death by his parents Lyonal and Shirley Buck, his in laws John and Ruth Krenzer, and his brother in law Walter Klipfel III.

A celebration of life will be held on Saturday April 18th, 2026, 3:30-6:00pm at Integrity Celebration Center 2789 Browns Lake Dr., Burlington, WI 53105. In honor of Cecil please wear your favorite Hawaiian attire.
