Ann (Klocker) Nienhaus

Ann Nienhaus, 82, of Burlington, WI, passed away peacefully on August 22nd, 2024.

Born on August 30th, 1941, in Chicago, IL, to Dr. Karl and Bernice Klocker.  Her family moved to Silver Lake, WI.  Ann attended Holy Name School in Wilmot, WI, and St. Mary’s High School in Burlington, WI.

Ann married Robert “Bob” Nienhaus on October 1st, 1960.  They had 3 daughters together. 

Ann enjoyed being a florist for Sentry Foods.  She was a cook for St. Mary’s Schools.  She worked at the decorating center assisting customers and worked for an embroidery company. 

Ann and Bob loved to travel.  Her favorite destination was Las Vegas! Ann and Bob loved being outside and having fun with family and friends. 

Ann is survived by her husband of 63 years, Bob.  Her daughters Laurie Barr, Nancy Nienhaus, and Amy (Joe) Hughes.  Grandchildren Justin (Lauren) Wieners, and Kristen Wieners.  Great Grandchildren Emma, Noah, and Charlie.  Ann is further survived by her sister Patty Ebbers and brother-in-law James (Jane) Weis.

Ann is preceded in death by her parents, sister Karlene May Gebhard, brother-in-law James Gebhard, sister Kathleen Weis, sister Barbara Straus, brother- in- law Robert Straus, brother-in-law David Ebbers, and son-in-law Richard Barr.

The family wish to have a private memorial service and burial at a later date.
