Ted Allen Christiansen

January 17, 1966 – November 21, 2019

Ted Christiansen, 53 of Waterford, WI passed away surrounded by family on Thursday, November 21, 2019 at Seasons Hospice of Waukesha. He was born on January 17, 1966 in Burlington, Wisconsin; the son of Gustav (Gus) & Rosella (Joan) Christiansen. Ted graduated the class of 1985 from Waterford High School and following school he became a heavy equipment operator, worked for A.W. Oakes & Son and was a proud union member of Operating Engineers Local 139 for 30 years. He truly loved his family and friends and riding his Harley whenever possible. 

 

Ted will be dearly missed by his daughter Nina Olsen and her husband Nate, their children Nash and Nola, his sisters Shelley (Alan) Mittelstaedt and Becky (Humphrey) Firkus. His nephews Keith (Rachel) Mittelstaedt and Kevin (Ryan) Mittelstaedt and other nieces and nephews as well as many cherished family members and adored friends.

 

Ted is now eternally joined with parents Gus and Joan, brothers Thomas and Dan and his beloved pets.

 

A celebration of Ted’s life will be held on Sunday, December 8, 2019 at Integrity Celebrations Center (2789 Browns Lake Drive, Burlington, WI 53105) from 10:30 AM to 12:15 PM followed by a Memorial Service at 12:30 PM. 

 

The family requests memorials be given as a donation in Ted’s honor to your favorite charity.
