Susan M. (Grubb) Kayser-Kramer

Susan Marie (Grubb) Kayser-Kramer, 52 years young, of Burlington, WI passed away peacefully in her sleep on Sunday, January 14, 2018. Susan (known to all as Susie) was born in Milwaukee, WI on August 28, 1965.

Susie enjoyed her childhood in Burlington, WI with her parents, Clayton and Betty Grubb and her sister Rebecca.  Her childhood was filled with lots of love, fun, stock car races, snowmobiling, swimming, fishing trips to Fox Lake, WI, playing on the hill behind the “pink house” with friends and cousins, family pets, and much more.  Later Susie met and married Clifford Kayser on March 10, 1990 in Elkhorn, WI, and they welcomed their son, Michael, on August 20, 1991.  Michael was everything to Susie, she loved being a mother above all else.  Caregiving was in Susie’s blood, so she naturally chose it as her path of work.  Later their lives took them on a move to Spencer, WI for about 7 years, later returning to Burlington, WI.  Life’s road took her in a different direction in her relationships and she found love with Melvin Kramer.  The last few years of Susie’s life was spent enjoying traveling, Packer games, creating candles, sight-seeing and much more with Melvin.  Many smiles and laughs.

As we all know, Susie loved spending time with her family and friends.  She enjoyed organizing and cooking for parties.  You could always find her watching a Rachel Ray cooking show as she snuggled with her little doggie Lilly.  She loved everyone she met and had many smiles and hugs to give.

Susie will be deeply missed by her family; Michael Kayser, Milwaukee, WI; Melvin Kramer, Burlington, WI; Rebecca, Gregory & Zachery Horsfall, Burlington, WI; as well as all her extended family and friends.  

She was preceded in death by her parents and grandparents.

Susie’s Celebration of Life: Relatives and friends may visit with Susie’s family from 3:30 p.m. till time of service on Saturday, Jan. 20, 2018.  Service will be held at 5:00 p.m. at Waterford Community United Methodist Church, 455 S. Jefferson Street, Waterford, WI.  Following the service there will be a celebration of life dinner in honor of Susie.  

A very heartfelt thank you goes out to all family and friends for their love and continued support.
