Duane "Breeze" S. Brissette

Duane  "Breeze" S. Brissette age 89, passed away June 9th, 2019 at Angels Grace Hospice surrounded by his family. Duane was born September 3rd, 1929 to the late Oliver and Ruth Brissette. He married his loving wife Betty on October 23rd, 1982 and they shared many beautiful years together. Duane was happily retired and enjoyed spending time with his family. He was and honorary EMT/Firefighter for Mukwonago Fire Department. He delivered Meals on Wheels for 14 years.

Duane will be dearly missed by his wife Betty A. Brissette; his children Paul E. Brissette, Joann Haut, Jim (Mary) Brissette, Dorothy Pitzer, Diana Hurley, Bonnie Weaver, Nancy (Jim) Moeller,  and Leo (Amy) Brissette; his step children Leroy (Glendyl) Ernsting, Donald Ernstring, Linda Rodrigues, Delores (Roy) Reyes, Daniel Ernsting, and Lonnie (Renee) Ernstring; as well as many Grandchildren and Great Grandchildren.

Duane was preceded in death by his brothers Pierre Brissette and Dennis Brissette, his first wife Darlene (Nee Rath), and his second wife Delores (Nee Sellas).

A celebration of Duane’s life will take place on Thursday June 13th, 2019 at St. John’s Evangelical Lutheran Church (410 W. Veterans Way Mukwonago, WI 53149). Visitation is from 4:00pm to 5:45pm, followed by a 6:00 pm memorial service, officiated by Pastor John Bortulin. Private burial services will be held at a later date.
