Donald "Don" O. Comstock

Donald "Don" O. Comstock Sr., 91, of Lyons; passed away June 18th, 2018 surrounded by his loving family. A lifetime resident of Lyons. He married Vernell nee Nelson, January 8th, 1949. He was employed by Fischer Body and J.I. Case; as well as working self-employed as an independent contractor and on his family farm of 175 years. He enjoyed traveling and camping with his family and friends. He was always known to be working on some kind of project and rarely seen without a pair of vice grips in his pocket.

He is survived by his loving wife of 69 years, sister-in-law Jeanette Buckett, two daughters Lyn Thompson and Catherine Parrill, 12 grandchildren, and 12 great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his son. Don O. Comstock Jr., daughter, Bonny Franzene, grandson Ryan Franzene- nieces and nephews.

A celebration of Don's life will take place on Friday June 22nd, 2018 at St. Francis de Sales Catholic Church (148 Main St. Lake Geneva, 53147) at 10:30 am Friday June 22, 2018. Visitation 9:30-10:30. 

Don will be laid to rest at Hudson Cemetery in Lyons, WI,
